Computerspielemuseum
Last Friday, a brand new museum opened in Berlin, Germany, called the Computerspielemuseum (or the Computer Game Museum for those who didn't take 4 years of German in high school). This building hosts more than 300 different exhibits, all focusing on video games both new and old. This is a really amazing concept, because this shows that video games are starting to get the recognition that I think they deserve as creative medium. I think that people are becoming more aware of the role that visual arts play in influencing video games, and also vice versa. Some of the pictures on Kotaku of some of the exhibits can be seen here. If you would like more information on the museum itself, visit their official website.
