Rewarding Fans: A Cool Deal
Bioware, the makers of many titles such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age, will be releasing their downloadable demo of their newest game in the Dragon Age series, Dragon Age II: Call To Arms on the 360, PS3 and PC February 22. While this may sound like a normal demo, the guys at Bioware decided to give something back to their Dragon Age followers. After the demo has hit one million downloads, the developers will release two special edition in-game artifacts to the entire community when the full game gets released on March 8th. I have noticed more and more developers beginning to do this sort of thing, and I think it is really cool. I hope more developers will do this or continue to do this for their fans, because it is cool to know that developers show that they care about the people who buy their games. If you want to participate in the "million download challenge", all you have to do is sign into your EA account to make your download count. If you want to see the article on Kotaku, click here
